What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the ancient practice of using pure essential oils to help the body's immune system to restore and maintain health.
As well as their therapeutic benefits on the body, essential oils are also relaxing and calming.
What are essential oils?
Essential oils are highly aromatic and concentrated liquid substances extracted from various parts of plants such as flowers, stems, leaves, woods and resins.
Each essential oil has its own unique properties, fragrance and benefits and are blended by a qualified aromatherapist to suit individual needs.
How can Aromatherapy help me?
Aromatherapy treatments can be used to treat a wide range of psychological and physiological disorders.
Aromatherapy can also be used purely for relaxation or to relieve stress, soothe aching muscles, improve skin tone helping you to look younger.
The antibactericidal/antiviral properties of the oils can be used to stimulate the body's immune system. This can help ward off colds and infections speeding up recovery.
What conditions respond to Aromatherapy?
These are a few of the many psychological and physiological conditions which could be helped with Aromatherapy treatment:-
Arthritis, Lumbago, Rheumatism, Sprains

What happens during the treatment?
While the therapist blends the oils, you will be left to change and cover with towels and lie on the treatment couch.
Throughout the treatment you will remain covered except for the area or limb being treated. Client modesty is observed at all times. It is preferable to wear older clothes as some oil may remain on your skin and could stain clothing.
